T Levels:
Distinction in Healthcare Science with optional module in ‘Assisting with health science’ (not optical care services)
Access to HE:
Level 3 Ïã½¶Éç accepted: Paramedic Science or Allied Health Professions with 128 UCAS tariff points (D45 or D45 and M15)
International Baccalaureate (IB):
GCSEs:
5 x GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including English Language, Science and Maths. Passes in Functional Skills and Key Skills qualifications at level 2 in maths and English can be accepted as equivalents.
English language requirements
If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 7.0 overall and 7.0 in all components except writing which should be 6.5 or higher is required.
English language tuition, delivered by our British Council accredited Centre for English Language Learning (CELL), is available both before and during the course.

Work experience required?:
We strongly advise applicants to secure work experience in a Paramedic Science-related setting. This is not a compulsory requirement of the application process, but is advised to ensure you have a first hand understanding of the paramedic science environment, before undertaking your training into the profession.

As part of your application process, you will be required to submit an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) application before starting the course.
For overseas applicants, you will also need to submit a criminal records certificate from your home country.

Availability: This course has a limited number of places so that we can ensure a good quality placement experience. In exceptional circumstances this may result in the course becoming full before you have completed the admissions process. In this situation we will offer you the opportunity to be considered for a place on an alternative course.
You must meet and fulfil all non-academic requirements before 17 July 2026. Failure to meet this deadline may result in your offer being withdrawn.
Mature applicants need academic attainment normally no more than five years of joining the course.
